About Nick





ABOUT NICK LIVES:

Nicholas Lives is a guy who loves to entertain.

Whether it be through his cartoons, his stories, his films, or his games, Nick's goal in life is to entertain people. His other life goal is to not starve to death while trying to entertain people.

Luckily, Nick's passion for entertainment has already gotten him a few jobs and a handful of awards over the course of his High School career. As a matter of fact, in just the last two years, Nick was able to win the following awards:




- 1st Place Nationally in the 2012 TSA competition for his original video game, "Bloom."

- 8th place Nationally in the 2011 TSA competition for his short film, "Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk."

- 9th place Nationally in the 2011 TSA competition for his On-Demand 60-second film, "Pray-nk Call."

- 2nd place Statewide in the 2012 TSA competition for his short film, "Roshambo."

- The Best Director award in the Alta High Film Festival for his short film, "Happy Birthday."


In addition to winning awards, Nick Lives has also accomplished quite a lot as a writer, an artist, and more. Here's a list of some of the other things Nick has been up to this past couple of years:

- Nick illustrated monthly comics strips entitled "Flustered Feathers" for his online school newspaper, the Alta Hawkeye.

- Nick published his short story, "Dewey and Craig: Action Truckers" in Alta's award winning literary magazine, Euphony.

- Nick served as one of Euphony magazine's layout editors and in addition, published in it his original comic strip - "Bring Your Daughter to Work Day"

- Nick was brought on to create original artwork for a professional horror film entitled "Red Canyon."


Where is he now?

Nick is currently busy pursuing his dream of being a game designer by designing games. In particular, he is helping to design and doing all of the artwork for the Submarine Multiplayer Roguelike game "We Need to go Deeper" by Deli Interactive.
